9:12am Woke up feeling pretty good. My stomach doesn't hurt anymore but I'm still going to schedule a Colonic. I can't believe it's the ninth day already! Let's see how the rest of the day goes.
6:49pm So Unfortunately today I had to stop the fast, I went to work and couldn't work comfortably so it had to come to an end. I'm still going to get a Colonic done since that will still help my health. As for now I'll be drinking juice for the next week or so. I think possibly having inflamed intestines/Monthly cycle too... might have been why I had to stop. But the challenge isn't over yet. Now that my fast is finished (even though I didn't do 14 days it's still a pure fast, it just won't be as effective as a 14 day fast) I am now given the challenge to eat healthier, organic, local, and all natural foods. :) Thank to everyone who supported me! Especially Kenny.
14 Day Fast- A Complete Detox and Purification
This Blog is to keep track of any physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual changes throughout the fast with the help of Kenny, my significant other. This may sound "extreme" to some but there are procedures in preparation for a detox like this one to make sure the fast is indeed being used in a healthy manner. I will be providing detailed information about the fast, why I am doing it, and why other's should as well. Main Reference: Tom J. Chalko's book "The Joy of Perfect Health."

Day 8
Today I was fine all day until the evening. I went and exercised for about two hours- three and when I came home my stomach started hurting real bad. So I took a hot shower and made an enema and did one but not much came out no matter how much I tried. Kenny did some research and found I may have inflamed intestines so now I am planning on going to a
Naturopathic medical institute to get a Colonic since they have better machines and utensils to do an enema. So looking forward to that and hoping I feel better afterwards to continue the fast.

Day 7
7:44am So Today is suppose to be the hardest day of the fast. So far so good, let's see how the rest of the day goes.
6:42pm If today was suppose to be difficult, I'm disappointed. Today went well, felt like an every day kind of day. :)

Day 6
2:01pm Had class and am at work right now, I feel good today, although I know tonight I am going to have to do another enema. Definitely looking forward to that!
8:08pm So I just finished doing another enema. And I think this will be one of the most interesting things... People think that because I'm not eating food I'm going to get sick because I NEED it. Well today while doing my enema, my bowels were even more disgusting than at first! REALLY disgusting. The reason is simple: constantly eating food. Our bodies never get a break to fully get out all of the crap we shove into our mouths and just sits and rots in our stomach. And even when we think we are giving it a break, for example some people fast without doing enemas, it's still not getting out the toxic waist inside of our bodies. Today is my 6th day drinking nothing but water with occasional honey, and I definitely thought since nothing is going into my body (food) then not much would come out. I was totally wrong. This is why this fast is important, this is a REAL restart and detox, completely flushing out toxins. Not even just eating certain foods, or doing enemas all the time... this whole fast is dedicated to a new you! A new mind and body! And everyone should try it and stop being so scared. I'm an everyday human, I've eaten the same crap most unhealthy people have, I have addictions, I get stressed out... If I can do this, anyone can! And the great thing about this is that it's completely affordable! All you need is pure water*. It'd not some stupid diet you need to pay for, all it costs is some strong willpower! :)

Day 5
7:25am Couldn't sleep at all last night. I wasn't tired one bit and I have even more energy this morning! Time to go to the gym and then do some volunteering! :)
9:25PM Today went very well. Did everything as planned and even got some extra work hours in. I have a bit of back pain and my stomach's been making a lot of noise. Sounds like it's about time for another enema! :)

Day 4
3:44pm, Today I felt really great :) I was motivated to send out some more job resumes, did some drawings, researched some volunteer opportunities, I'm on a roll! I'm starting to notice some physical changes now. All around my body I've lost a couple of inches or so. My face is clear of blemishes and my hair seems to be growing faster as weird as that may sound. All together, it's been a great day. I forgot to mention this earlier, I am not hungry whatsoever. When I talk to people about the fast they automatically think, "I'd starve!" or ask me "how can you not eat?!." Well it's been 4 days now and I'm still not hungry and I feel just as good as I did when I was eating, even better! Food is almost everywhere though, and when it's around it's become such a natural instinct to eat it. That for me has been the most difficult; just saying no to food.

Day 3
9:54am, Woke up today feeling A-okay! Not as dizzy and my stomach feels just fine, Kenny gave me another massage last night so I think that’s really helping a lot :) let’s see how the rest of the day goes! :)
12:55 Starting to feel really down lately, I’m not sure if it’s the fast or what, physically I feel okay but
other than my emotional state I feel a lack of attention and love. I don’t know why but I do. So hopefully
hanging out with a good friend and a crazy friend who both care about me quite a bit will help.
9:07pm So I didn’t get to hang out with any friends and I’m not feeling any better about myself. I had a crazy emotional breakdown earlier and wanted to run away for a week and not tell anyone where I was, I cried a lot today thinking about a lot of things from my past. Physically still feeling okay though, just all this emotional outlet going on right now. let’s see how long this lasts.
(Note) Kenny did some research on this and even pieced most of it together with his own self knowledge; because I am doing this "cleanse" it's not only cleansing my physical body, but also my emotional, mental and spiritual states. During a fast, I think most people think of it as more of a physical thing but what we consume has a lot to do with our mental, emotional ext. states. Today I went through an emotional cleanse meaning I didn't heal properly from issues in the past and I am now going back to those issues and feeling what I felt but also cleansing/helping get rid of it. While fasting, you can revisit past injuries and feel or taste the same things you already went through. For example, if you have a really bad cold when you were younger, you may re-experience that during the fast but the feeling will only last for maybe a few seconds or even an hour max.
